Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 20 April 2026 · Applicable to all residents of Liveinn Apartments, Powai & Andheri East, Mumbai.
1. Visitor Policy
Visitors are strictly not permitted inside any Liveinn property at any time. Violation of this rule will result in immediate checkout without any refund of the current month's rent. This policy applies to all residents without exception.
2. Property Damage
Any damage to the property or goods caused by a resident will result in a penalty proportional to the cost of repair or replacement. This amount will be deducted from the security deposit. In cases where damage exceeds the deposit, the resident will be liable for the difference.
3. Utility Bills
All utility bills (electricity, cable etc.) are separate from the monthly rent and must be cleared by the 2nd of each month. Failure to clear outstanding bills by this date will attract a penalty and interest of up to 12% per annum on the overdue amount. Unpaid utility bills will not be adjusted against the security deposit and must be cleared before move-out for smooth deposit release.
4. Notice Period
Residents are required to serve a 30-day written notice period after completing the lock-in period for smooth release of the security deposit. Notice must be communicated via email to liveinnapartments@gmail.com. Verbal notice will not be accepted.
5. Security Deposit
The security deposit is equivalent to 2 months' rent and is fully refundable subject to: (a) serving the required notice period, (b) all utility bills being cleared, (c) no damage to property or goods, and (d) keys/access cards being returned. Refunds will be processed within 7 working days of a clean exit.
6. Complaints & Maintenance
All complaints and maintenance requests must be raised via email to liveinnapartments@gmail.com. Liveinn commits to responding to all complaints promptly. Complaints raised verbally without email confirmation may not be actioned.
7. House Rules
- Residents must maintain cleanliness in rooms and common areas at all times.
- Noise levels must be kept to a minimum, especially between 11 PM and 7 AM.
- Alcohol consumption is not permitted in common areas.
- Residents are responsible for the safekeeping of their personal belongings. Liveinn is not liable for theft or loss of personal property.
- Cooking in rooms (except using common kitchen facilities) is not permitted.
- Sub-letting of rooms is strictly prohibited.
8. Early Termination
If a resident vacates before the lock-in period ends, the security deposit will be forfeited. The resident will also be liable for rent for the remainder of the lock-in period unless a mutually agreed exception is made in writing.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
10. Amendments
Liveinn reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Residents will be notified of material changes with reasonable notice. Continued occupancy after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
